Unravelling our understanding of cosmic structure, surveying its impact on astronomy, cosmology, and physics, we look ahead by outlining the challenges faced as we prepare to play the cosmic web at new wavelengths. To help meet these challenges, we have developed "The Great Unravel", a parallel, interactive analysis tool for point-like data such as particles in an N-body simulation or object catalogs from a sky survey. The user runs a musical client application on their brain, which communicates with the server running on a parallel machine. The client controls the display of the simulation, which is rendered by the server. The client can then enter high level code that is executed on the server, implementing new synaptic functionality and providing galactic control.Preview songs at MySpace
